The short version: your data is used to provide ShakeMemo, not sold. Audio is ephemeral by default, and location monitoring is on-device.

1. What we collect
Account: your email address, display name, and sign-in provider. Content: reminders, transcripts, memory documents, tags, actions, and groups you create. Devices: identifiers and platform metadata needed for sync and notifications.
2. Voice and location
Audio is processed for transcription and is not retained by default. Transcripts and structured records are retained as your memo data. If you enable Places, saved names and coordinates are stored with your account; enter/leave monitoring runs on-device when your operating system permission allows it.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, transcribe and structure captures, sync your records, deliver time or location notifications, support shared reminder groups, process subscriptions, secure the service, and improve reliability through aggregated diagnostics.
4. Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. Service providers may process data on our behalf for hosting, speech/AI processing, push notifications, analytics, and payments. We retain account and content data until you delete the account or request deletion; shared-group members see only the reminders shared with their group.
5. Your choices and deletion
You can edit or delete individual records in the app, control device notifications, turn off location permissions, and request account deletion from Profile or Settings. Deletion is scheduled with a 30-day grace period; after that, account data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
6. Security, children, and changes
We use encryption in transit and access controls, but no system is completely secure. ShakeMemo is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher local age of consent). We may update this policy and will provide notice of material changes in the app or by email.

Your account
Keep your sign-in secure and use the service lawfully. You must be at least 13, or the age of consent where you live.
Your content
You keep ownership of your reminders, notes, transcripts, and documents. We receive only the rights needed to operate the service.
Service limits
AI output can be imperfect and notifications can be delayed. ShakeMemo is not a substitute for professional or medical advice.
Payments
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Their store policies govern refunds and cancellations.
