1. Introduction
ShakeMemo ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our reminder and calendar app, and your choices regarding that information.
2. Information We Collect
Account and profile. When you sign in (e.g., with Google or Apple), we receive your email address and display name (or Apple identifier) to create and maintain your account.
Reminders and content. We store the reminders you create (title, date/time, recurrence, notes) and any groups you create or join, so we can sync them across your devices and deliver notifications.
Devices. We store device identifiers and related metadata (e.g., platform, last active time) to route notifications to the right device and manage sync.
Usage and diagnostics. We may collect anonymous or aggregated usage data and error logs to improve the app and fix issues.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide reminders, calendar views, and notifications; sync your data across devices; manage groups and sharing; process subscriptions and purchases; secure your account; and improve our services.
4. Data Storage and Retention
Your data is stored on our servers (and, where applicable, with our service providers). We retain your account and reminder data until you delete your account or request deletion. After account deletion, we remove your data as described in our account deletion flow.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with: (a) service providers that help us operate the app (e.g., hosting, analytics, push notifications, payments); (b) other users only as needed for group features (e.g., group members see group reminders); (c) authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You can access and update your profile in the app. You can delete individual reminders or leave groups. You may request deletion of your entire account and associated data at any time from Settings; once completed, your data will be removed from our systems.

6.1. Delete Account
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the Profile page within the app. To initiate account deletion, navigate to the Profile page and select the "Delete Account" option. Upon submission of your deletion request, your account will be scheduled for deletion, and all associated data will be permanently removed from our systems after a 30-day grace period. During this 30-day period, you may cancel the deletion request by logging back into your account. After the 30-day period expires, account deletion is irreversible, and all data associated with your account will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your device secure.
8. Children
Our service is not directed at children under 13 (or higher where required). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes in the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using ShakeMemo ("the app" or "the service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app. Your use of the app after any change to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
ShakeMemo provides a reminder and calendar application that lets you create, manage, and sync reminders across devices, use calendar and timeline views, join or create groups, and receive notifications. Some features may require a subscription or in-app purchase.
3. Account and Eligibility
You must create an account (e.g., via Google or Apple sign-in) to use sync and multi-device features. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of consent in your jurisdiction) to use the service.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not: use the app to harass, abuse, or harm others; upload malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data; resell or redistribute the service; or use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or overburden our infrastructure.
We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.
5. Your Content and Data
You retain ownership of the content you create (e.g., reminders, notes). By using the service, you grant us the rights necessary to store, process, sync, and display your content and to send notifications. Our use of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. Payment is processed through the applicable app store (Apple App Store, Google Play). Refunds and cancellations are governed by the store's policies. We may change subscription offerings and pricing with notice; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
7. Intellectual Property
The app, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the app or use our trademarks without permission.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not liable for reminders that are delayed, missed, or not delivered. You use the app at your own risk. Reminders are not a substitute for professional or medical advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we (and our affiliates, directors, and employees) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app or these Terms. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or, if none, one hundred dollars).
10. Termination and Account Deletion
You may stop using the app at any time. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from the app's Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or for other operational or legal reasons, with notice where practicable.
Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases. We will remove or anonymize your data as described in our Privacy Policy and account deletion flow.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes in the app or by email. Your continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the app and may delete your account.
